According to 1 Corinthians 15:57, Christ gives us victory over sin and death through His Son Jesus Christ. In the short sentence, ‘living a victorious life in Christ,’ a profound inference is made . The inference is you must be a baptized believer who has been added to the Lord’s church to experience the victorious life in Christ. In other words, if a person is not a member of the Lord's church, such a person cannot claim/experience victory in Christ. John tells us in 1 John 4:5 that the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God overcomes the world. However, this belief is not a "belief only" belief. It is about putting your belief into practice. Your belief can be seen in the way you live and the manner of your conversations. You can obtain the victorious life in Christ by being steadfast and unmovable in your faith and commitment to the Lord. Achieving victory in Christ also means you must be willing to live your life according to God's will and not your will.
